Internet Safety Resources
Internet Safety? Have you considered it? Do you know what your students are up to while they are online?
As we move into the holidays, we are aware that our students will have some free time and will be exploring different types of technology. Perhaps your family might even be getting a new computer for Christmas.
We are planning to host an internet safety seminar after the first of the year for our NCCS families that will be put on by the Georgia Family Council. We are looking forward to sending you some more details as that event comes together and hope you’ll make plans to join us.
We do want to go ahead and pass along some helpful resources that might help your family be safer on the internet. Our students have been trained to ask questions and to explore further in their quest for education. We want to partner with you to provide a safe forum for you and your student to come up with some safe internet practices.

One of the best ways to impact the youth today is to transform the habits of parents and other adults. When adults become accountable for their Internet use, then lasting change will take place in our culture.
I’ve written some thoughts on the power of accountability and Internet monitoring at http://blogs.covenanteyes.com/topics/why-accountability/
Thanks for listing such good information about Internet safety!
